As per usual I’m impatient for con photos to turn up. So I’m stealing some of the photos that Haley took of my Parcel Mistress when we were goofing around on the bridge at Colossal on Saturday.
Ash managed to track down a picture of my PM from Detour!
Aw man, you can see where I kind of rushed the costume, but that’s ok because I’m going to tidy her up before Colossal rolls around! And hopefully have a bag full of mail to hand out ;v;

Cosplays of 2012
Well there are good parts of all of these so I will not be bashing myself over my first legitimate year of doing more than one cosplay.
My first con of the year was Anime Detour, which I’ve been attending almost every year for the past six years. I finished Winry in a sufficient amount of time, and wore it Saturday and Sunday. I absolutely love the prop wrench my brother and Dad cut out for me. That weekend was a lot of fun, despite my van overheating and thus not arriving to the convention for another three hours or so.
Next was No Brand, which was (GASP!) the weekend right before finals. Which was actually really nice. The con itself was not exactly spectacular this year, but I did have fun with my friends. I wore my Courtesan cosplay and wandered around with my friend who dressed as Ezio on Saturday, which produced NO PICTURES despite numerous people stopping us to capture me dressed as a whore. Thus the picture that Dana took as reference for my Drawing II final which I DIDN’T EVEN END UP USING. Sunday was a hasty change into YJ Black Canary so we could get Dana all greenified for Miss Martian.
Last one of the year was AniMinneapolis which was spectacular though a little bit crowded. Despite getting the majority of my Lady Cap cosplay done the week of the convention, I feel like it was my most successful cosplay this year. I ended up drafting the pattern for the shirt myself, which I’m very proud of. Lady Cap is probably the most fun I’ve ever had in a costume, and I just have so many feels while dressed as her.
Now on to 2013! The year of Detour, Colossalcon, and AniMinni!
